Drava's impressions

Fine weather and warm of may judges coming the painters and sculptors  in 21st May the on the saidb of the Drava near naked to enjoy the benefits of nature, conveying his impressions on canvas, all for the benefit of the humanitarian aspect. Namely, at the initiative of the Office of the Croatian diaspora, and its representatives Joseph Jurjevic from Zagreb for the fourth consecutive year, bring together artists painters and sculptors in Jeskovu along the Drava River, more precisely on the Drava precipice, creating works for those who need it most. So Saturday morning we headed over to the naked, which is located next to the Hungarian border. That part of the Pannonian plains once belonged to Hungary, a limit was Drava. After an abundant breakfast, we went to the bank of the Drava, which in this part Podravine very pleasant and attractive for hikers, anglers and other people who want to enjoy its benefits. We going by the dusty road towards the Drava River, behind us were raised clouds of dust that accompanied us to the destination.

After a short time the field reached golska we Ješkova, natural lakes situated on border of bare and Novacka Island. Natives say that the lake is connected to the secret underground door with the Drava River. Ješkovo was blooming water lilies and reeds, and the notice  the family of swans who their youth performed on the water. Mali is not beautiful, they are like ugly ducks which over time turns into a white swan gracioznog. I remember back to my childhood when I prlazila with his grandfather near Jeskova that we have seen the most beautiful sunsets, which fascinated me and I remained in permanent memory.

Often I come back on Jeskovo, the lead and my daughter, and to which we care about. When we reached our destination, we encountered the sculptor and painter Joseph Zagar Nadu Svegovic and Petar Petrovic, who are already painted, they were not with us at breakfast, but we brought them so little cheese and domestic Bacon and homemade poppy, which is Anica prepared. We are takeing out  easel  place of painting positions. Impressions was only comeing, so many and we did not know what to put before the focus, water, flowers, sage, willow thicket, fish ... Fragrances acacia and water everywhere the environment. All this was packed with colors and scents. Notice arrived and artist from Zagreb: Danica, Cherry, Ljiljana, Dragica and Djurdjica  and Barbara Percac. They told us they had never been here in this place, and that there is a lot of paint. I think we'll be short this day.

Our painting exaltations end calls Mladen Vecenaj host colonies to lunch. Below is in some tent served as an oasis for the creation, turned into a table set for lunch.
